Mud run delayed after field flooding

THE START of a gruelling mud run had to be delayed after the car park flooded overnight.
The Mucky Races Cuts and Glory event on Sunday November 25 started around an hour later than scheduled after competitors and spectators became stuck in the mud.
Cars had to be towed onto the parking field with many giving up and leaving their cars in Bures.
The 5k event at Parsonage Hall was delayed a further five minutes when an ambulance 4x4 also got stuck.
