HOMELESS shelter residents got creative with pumpkins during a Halloween celebration.
Colchester Engagement and Next Steps, which helps the homeless move on to more permanent living arrangements, sponsored the Halloween-themed activity.
It included pumpkin-carving and pie-making in a bid to make shelter residents feel included in the festivities.
CENS plays a crucial supporting role by moving vulnerable people away from the streets and into a safe, secure, healthy environment, where they can access the services and advice they need to begin to move forward.
