FAMILIES in need are being invited to a free pre-loved item event to help keep warm this winter.
Free winter clothing and thick bedding will be given to anyone who needs support this winter at a number of community centres in Colchester.
The volunteer staff will also offer advice and information about support from Citizen's Advice and Colchester Borough Council.
The event will take place on October 20, from 9am to 4pm, in Stephen's Church Centre on Canterbury Road and on Friday, October 21, from 11am to 4pm, at St Margaret's Church on Stansted Road.
