Job Title: Administration Executive - Zoom In Leaflet Solutions
Responsible to:
Sales Director - Newsquest Direct
Location: Colchester

Main Objectives:

  • To contribute to achieving the overall objectives of Newsquest Direct and Newsquest Media Group through personal performance and effective relationships with all stakeholders.
    The achievement of agreed key task objectives.

Purpose:

  • To input all local and national leaflet orders onto NCS and to process any amendments
  • To ensure accurate leaflet stock reports are communicated each week
  • To ensure that adequate checking is performed to ensure the correct volume and revenue have been booked each week
  • To complete weekly controls to confirm accuracy of bookings
  • To ensure accurate leaflet information is sent out to the Field Staff each week
  • To deal with our customers internally and externally in a professional and efficient manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • To handle incoming queries and to log them accurately
  • To produce weekly and monthly reports when required
  • To assist colleagues when required
  • Be conversant in our NCS computer system
  • To identify and recommend efficiencies in process
  • Be conversant in Microsoft Office
  • To develop and maintain strong and effective relations with the full NQD/Zoom In team.
  • To contribute to the tactical and strategic development of Newsquest Direct & Zoom In.
  • To provide support to the Head of Local Sales & Planning as required.


Additional Responsibilities

  • To liaise closely with Newsquest colleagues to contribute to the achievement of overall business objectives, to help ensure that a unified strategy exists across the business.
  • To keep abreast of relevant economic and commercial developments that may impact on the business, and ensure that the implications of the same are evaluated and discussed in the appropriate forums.
  • Positively contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process with a view to arriving at challenging but deliverable targets for revenue, costs and profits.
  • Provide appropriate support to, and ensure regular communication with, Direct Marketing staff employed by regional Newsquest offices, regarding marketing and new business opportunities.
  • To undertake projects assigned by the Sales Director.
  • To foster a climate of goodwill towards the Company and its Employees.
