Over-running engineering works cause train delays

First published in News

COMMUTERS faced long delays this morning after over-running engineering works at Ipswich train station this morning.

Several trains were cancelled leading to problems between Ipswich and Felixstowe and subsequent delays between Colchester and Liverpool Street.

The service was expected to return to normal this morning although passengers are advised to check for any changes before travelling.

What a great photo, what a pity it is not one of the trains we have running on this line, the day we see trains like this i think Hell will have frozen over.
It is observes that the person who put this photo has never travels on the Norwich to Liverpool street line and seen the ram shackled trains we have to put up with

It's a stock photo. Newquest uses them all the time. Saves time and money.

Newsquest are lazy. I am quite sure they have a photo of the clapped out stuff we actually use on the GE line, so stop giving out excuses.

I realy feel for people who travel the line these days as it's one thing after another. I travelled up and down to London for 27 years and never had all this bother when it came under British Rail!!
