JEWELLERY, a mobile phone and lighter were stolen in a house raid.
The break-in happened between 10.30pm and 11.40pm on April 12 when thieves got in through a rear door of a property in Pound Farm Lane, Dovercourt, and made a messy search of the premises.
Once inside they stole three gold rings one being described as a large band with raised dimples, another a half sovereign, a brass lighter with a wick and a gold effect Victorian Sovereign.
They also took a Nokia mobile telephone.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have been offered these items for sale or who may have any information about the break in.
