COLCHESTER United fans will be offered free beer by a wine retailer to mark the U’s last home game of the season.
The Wine Centre, in Great Horkesley, is supporting the club’s Gazette-backed Take Over The Town campaign.
It will see businesses and council buildings decked in blue and white in the lead up to the club’s last home game of the season, against Brentford.
Rural U’s supporters are invited to the centre, in The Causeway, for a pint of Greene King ale at 1.30pm before they set off on a one-mile walk to the stadium to watch the match.
Fans must wear at least a blue and white scarf.
In the week leading up to the match, the centre will be covered in bunting, flags and balloons.
