Will this be a proper plane the old surface off and put down a new surface, or a bodge job of spraying tar and chippings on the old surface ? I only ask as they have already spent money patching the cracks between James Carter Road and Dugard Avenue, and if its a complete re surface that is more wasted money ! Presumably they will be doing this at night which would seem the most sensible and less disruptive to traffic.

How about Halstead Road from London Road to King Coel Road? Much worse. The road surfaces around Colchester are diabolical. The repairs done on Bergholt Road are cracking up as well.
