A Next clothing store which will open in mid February has created almost 30 jobs.

The store, which will be in the former Comet unit at the Tollgate Retail Park adjacent to the existing Next At Home store, is set to open on February 20.

It will stock men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and include separate areas for lingerie, tailoring, petite sizes and shoes.

The current Next at Home store will also expand slightly meaning the total floor size will almost double to 24,054sq ft.

Twenty-eight people have already been hired to work at the store and are currently in training.

There is not enough parking on the Tollgate retail park, they need to open up the land where the old Sainsburys used to be for parking because that retail park is a nightmare and it's about to get a lot worse when the new Next opens.

I wonder how long the Next in town will stay... After all, there are no confusing bus lanes at Tollgate and the parking is free.

There are 475 parking spacers at Tollgate but 323 people work there, so there is only really 152 parking spaces for customers it's madness they have to make the car park bigger.

Is this the shop which puts signs outside saying "clothes for men, women and children", like, just to be clear they aren't selling a coat for your dog?
