THREE walkers from Colchester were rescued from a mountain peak after getting lost in freezing temperatures.
The walkers - two men and a woman in their 20s - had set out to climb the North Ridge of Tryfan in the Snowdonia mountain range in Wales.
However, they lost their way while making their descent through thick cloud and got stuck in a gully.
Volunteers from the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue searched for the walkers and found them after five hours.
