A RETIREMENT housing scheme has been praised for its work with older people.

Five Fields Court, based at The Centre, in Greenstead, was highly commended as one of the Best UK Retirement Housing Schemes at the National Housing for Older People awards.

The scheme, run by Genesis, scored well on the quality of its property and support.

Jane Coskry, business manager at Genesis said: “This is great recognition and we’re delighted because the results are based on feedback that’s come directly from residents.”
