COLCHESTER Rugby Club suffered a 36-14 defeat at Westcombe Park, in National League division three on Saturday.
The All Blacks, who have already had their relegation fate sealed, fell behind to a converted try but made it all-square after an excellent individual effort from Brett Cutbush.
The scrum-half made an interception before charging under the posts.
A successful conversion put the teams level, but by half-time the hosts had fashioned a 17-7 advantage.
Westcombe Park added to their tally early in the second period, before Alex Rayment responded with a try that was converted by James Crozier.
However, any hopes of a comeback were dashed by another converted try by the hosts, to complete their victory.
Colchester have two fixtures left, at home to Chichester next Saturday before a trip to Guernsey on April 22.
