COLCHESTER Swimming Club's Tom Grieve and Ana Victoria Anderson have been elected as this year’s club captains.
They will be assisted by Nick Mitchell, Jamie Coles, Livi Norman and Abbie McCarthy, who have all been appointed vice-captains.
Club chairman Steve Redmond said: “On behalf of everyone at our club, I'd like to offer my congratulations to Tom, Ana Victoria, Nick, Jamie, Livi and Abbie.
"I wish them all every success for the year ahead.
“At Colchester, the position of club captain is viewed as a pivotal role, representing the views of the swimmers and contributing to the development of the club.
"They are all fantastic role models and I'm sure they will all do a great job supporting the club and leading our swimmers by example.”
Commenting on his appointment, Grieve added: “I'm exceptionally proud to have been re-elected as captain.
"It’s a role I've thoroughly enjoyed and I'll continue to encourage our squad to train hard and strive for both personal achievements and team accolades.”
Anderson added: “Our swimming club is one of the most successful and highly-regarded clubs in the region.
"I look forward to working alongside our swimmers, coaches and the committee in strengthening our team further.”
Colchester Swimming Club's committee would like to thank Just Rubber Tyres and Nindy’s Fish Bar for sponsoring the captains' shirts.
