Colchester United legend Karl Duguid has joined newly-promoted Needham Market.
The ex-U's star, who had been playing for Thurlow Nunn League side Stanway Rovers, has become a player-coach at the Suffolk club.
Needham are preparing for life in the Ryman Premier after winning last season's division one north title.
Needham boss Mark Morsley, who lives in Bradfield and previously managed Harwich and Parkeston, said: "Karl brings a wealth of experience that our young players will benefit from as we look forward to step three football."
Duguid will be reunited with former U's skipper Kem Izzet, who is a key member of the Needham squad.
