Joe Dunne insists it will not be a case of mission impossible for Colchester United when they take on high-flying Peterborough United tomorrow.
The U’s head into the League One clash at the Weston Homes Community Stadium still looking for their first win of the season.
In contrast, promotion-chasing Posh have won three of their opening four league matches and lie second in the table.
However, U’s boss Dunne believes his side have what it takes to pull off an unexpected victory - and get their season up and running.
Dunne said: “It’s not impossible that we can win.
“Sometimes, teams down the bottom beat teams at the top so we have to be 100 per cent.
“We need to play at our maximum and make it as difficult as we’ve made it for a lot of the teams we’ve played against.
“We’re going to be playing against a team who I’m sure will be in that zone.
“We’ll have to be as competitive as we can be and go out and do what we’ve been doing."
