Colchester United teenager Jordan Sanderson said he is hungry for more first-team opportunities after making his senior bow.
Sanderson, 17, signed his first professional contract with the U’s last Friday.
And the young midfielder followed that up by appearing as a late substitute for John-Joe O’Toole in Colchester’s 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers, on the final day of the League One season.
Sanderson said: “It was great to make my debut for Colchester.
“I really enjoyed it and it was nice to get a good reception from the fans.
“In a way it was nice to have got it out of the way but it was a good moment for me and it was great to get a win.
“Hopefully, I can kick on more next season.”
