John Ward has been unveiled as the new Colchester United manager.
The appointment was confirmed at a lunch-time press conference.
Ward had been assistant manager to Aidy Boothroyd, who left the U’s earlier this month to take over at Coventry City.
Former Colchester favourite Joe Dunne will be his number two.
