Moving away - Andrew Bond has left Colchester United to join League One rivals Crewe Alexandra on a month's loan.
COLCHESTER United midfielder Andy Bond has joined League One side Crewe Alexandra on a month's loan.
Bond, 26, has found first-team opportunities limited at the Weston Homes Community Stadium so far this season.
The midfielder joined Colchester from non-league Barrow in July, 2010.
He has made more than 100 league and cup appearances for the U's.
But Colchester manager Joe Dunne has moved quickly to revamp his squad, after bringing in three loan players yesterday.
Bond will be in the Crewe squad for the game at MK Dons as long as all the paper work is completed.
