Joe Dunne has made his first signing as Colchester United manager by signing MK Dons forward Jabo Ibehre on a three-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old striker began his career at Leyton Orient and made nearly 250 league and cup appearances for the east London side, before leaving them to join Walsall in 2008.
Ibehre joined MK Dons a year later and has since had loans spells at Southend United and Stockport County.
Ibehre is set to go straight into the U's starting line-up for their game against Hartlepool United tomorrow, Dunne's first game in charge following his appointment as manager earlier today.
