Long-serving midfielder Kem Izzet wants to spend many more years at Colchester United.
Izzet will mark a decade at the U’s when team-mates past and present flock to the Weston Homes Community Stadium for his testimonial tomorrow.
The 31-year-old has already racked up more than 400 league appearances for Colchester, having made his debut for them back in 2001.
Izzet is close to signing a new deal with the U’s and hopes to play a big part in the club’s future, over the next few years.
He said: “I’m looking to sign my contract soon and I hope to play for as long as I can."
