Colchester United boss John Ward has completed his first business during the January transfer window by making the loan signing of Watford striker Gavin Massey.
The 19-year-old, who emerged through the youth ranks at Vicarage Road, is joining for an initial one-month period and will be available for the next six games.
Massey has just returned to Watford after a loan spell at Yeovil, during which time he netted twice in the Glovers' 2-2 draw at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
He will be available for Saturday's League One date at home to Chesterfield and the final game of this loan will, ironically, be against Yeovil on February 18.
