Colchester United will welcome their biggest crowd of the season tomorrow.
A crowd of more than 7,000 is expected to flock to the Weston Homes Community Stadium, to watch the U’s clash with fellow promotion hopefuls Southampton.
Colchester’s biggest attendance so far is 6,112 for their 3-3 draw with Charlton Athletic, on New Year’s Day.
But the game against the Saints this weekend is expected to top that by some distance.
Visitors Southampton are also expected to bring the biggest away following to the stadium this season.
They are set to better the 1,862 Sheffield Wednesday fans that travelled to the Community Stadium for their game with the U’s, back in August.
Colchester have announced that their car park is now sold out for tomorrow’s game.
