Colchester United were held 0-0 by Ryman League premier division side Lowestoft Town at Crown Meadow last night, in their latest pre-season friendly.
Kayode Odejayi, who played as part of a three-pronged attack for the U's in the first half alongside Ashley Vincent and Simon Hackney, had his side's best opportunity of the first half but was denied by keeper Reynolds.
Reynolds also saved from Anthony Wordsworth in the second half, when Colchester boss John Ward made a number of substitutions.
However, the U's could not find a winner and had to settle for a fourth successive clean sheet in pre-season.
Colchester's next pre-season friendly is at Blue Square South side Braintree Town on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
