Long-serving midfielder Kem Izzet has signed a new contract with Colchester United.
The 29-year-old has signed a new deal with the U's, which will take him up to the summer of 2012.
Izzet has been with Colchester since March 2001, when he signed from Charlton Athletic.
He has clocked up more than 350 league and cup appearances for the U's and skippered the side in last weekend's 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
