Robbie Cowling has admitted former boss Paul Lambert did a “great job” for Colchester United.
The U’s chairman is still angry about the manner of the Scot’s departure to Norwich City, last August.
His quest for compensation is still on-going.
However, Cowling has acknowledged the work Lambert produced at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
