Colchester United are considering playing some of their future home games on Friday nights.
The U's are exploring the possibility of staging games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium before the regular league fixture programme on a Saturday.
Colchester have played home games on Friday nights in the past at Layer Road.
And they believe it could help to boost attendances, winning new supporters in the process.
U's manager Aidy Boothroyd said: "It's a good idea and it's something that we should explore.
"Playing under lights means a good atmosphere and it's something that has been floated."
