Colchester United recorded a highly impressive 3-0 win over high-flying Charlton Athletic tonight.
Aidy Boothroyd's side have moved up to fourth in Coca-Cola League One and have gone five matches unbeaten under the former Watford boss after defeating Charlton, managed by former Colchester boss Phil Parkinson.
The U's took a 28th minute lead when Addicks defender Miguel Llera headed Anthony Wordsworth's lofted ball into his own net.
And three minutes later, on-loan striker Kayode Odejayi latched onto John-Joe O'Toole's long pass to control and fire home.
Odejayi scored another superb goal just before the hour mark to wrap up a memorable win for the U's, in front of a crowd of more than 7,000 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
