Ipswich Town are still waiting for their first win of the season after going down 3-1 at home to Crystal Palace.

The Blues produced a much-improved second-half performance but the damage was done in a short spell just after the interval.

Former hero Darren Ambrose scored twice in that time and then crossed for ex-Colchester United man Neil Danns, who made it 3-1.

Alex Bruce had scored Town's consolation goal with a header from Owen Garvan's cross.
