Colchester United climbed out of the Coca-Cola League One relegation zone after beating Yeovil Town 1-0 tonight.
A fine strike by on-loan striker Jermaine Easter - his first for the club - eight minutes into the second half proved enough to give the U's a vital win over the Glovers, in front of a crowd of just 3, 214 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
It was only Colchester's second win at their new home and ended a run of three successive defeats for Paul Lambert's men.
The only downside to the evening was the injuries suffered by Phil Ifil and Kem Izzet, which forced both to be substituted at half-time.
