COLCHESTER School of Gymnastics' Joshua Mitchell raked in the medals at the Eastern Region competition for levels one and two.

In the level one, 11/12 age group, he won gold bars with a score of 10.90 and an outstanding bench score of 11.90 earned him a second gold.

He scored 9.80 in the vault for a silver medal.

Charlotte Brinkley, in the ten years level one, won silver for her vault score of 9.80 and a score of 11.05 took the bronze for her elegant floor routine.

In the 11/12s level one, Lauren Edwards gained a gold for her vault score of 9.95 and she took silver for 11.00 on the floor, while Beth Molly's vault of 9.80 was only .05 away from bronze in the 13/14s level one.

In the 11/12s level two, Savanna Edwards scored 10.25 for fifth on vault, while 10.20 took sixth for Ellie Humphries.

The 13/14s level two saw Georgina Humphries get gold for her outstanding performances on vault, scoring 10.4, and beam, with 11.75. She also took bronze on bars with 10.60.

Verity Michi took bronze for her 10.70 on the beam, while Ceri Butcher also took bronze for a floor score of 13.00.

Danielle Bull deserved her bronze for a vault of 10.10.

Katie Hayward shared the bronze on the vault with 10.10.

In the 15/16s level two, Rebecca Bailey received gold medals for vault (scoring 11.00), beam (10.85) and floor (13.75). She also took bonze medal for bars, scoring 11.00.

Lauren O'Neill took silvers in the bar, with 11.10, the beam, with 10.70, and floor, with 13.35.

In the level two 11/12 group, Thomas Littlewood and Carl Brice took all the gold and silver medals between them.

Brice came home with four gold medals for his performances on vault, (10.50), beam, (10.50), bench (11.55) and floor (11.45).

Littlewood swept superbly over the vault to score 10.30.
