A HOST of first-team players featured for Colchester United as they played out a 0-0 draw at Stowmarket Town in a friendly at Greens Meadow.
Frank Nouble, Cameron Coxe, Tom Dallison and Alex Newby all featured for the U's in their game against their Pitching In Isthmian League division north opponents.
New signing Ossama Ashley also got minutes under his belt, along with the likes of Chay Cooper, Samson Tovide and Marley Marshall Miranda and two trialists.

The game was originally billed as an under-23 match for the U's but a number of first-team players were involved, as the visitors claimed a draw.
All seven of the players named on the bench for Colchester's League Two opener at Northampton Town last weekend were included.
Colchester are back in league action this weekend when they host Carlisle United at the JobServe Community Stadium, on Saturday.
The U's will be looking to bounce back following their 3-2 defeat at Northampton, last weekend.
