COLCHESTER United host Leyton Orient tonight in a second successive League Two relegation six pointer (kick-off 7.45pm).

The U's lie a point below the O's and two points clear of the relegation zone.

Colchester are aiming to claim their first win in six matches, following last weekend's 1-1 draw with Oldham Athletic.

From team news to line-ups, key men and the referee, all you need to know can be found below ahead of the game.

U's team news

Colchester are likely to recall leading scorer Freddie Sears to their starting line-up, for tonight's game.

The experienced striker was left on the bench for the Oldham game and came on at half-time.

Tyreik Wright (pictured below) is also pushing for a start after coming on as a substitute against the Latics.

However, Ryan Clampin remains a long-term absentee.

Gazette:

Colchester interim head coach Wayne Brown

“There were a lot of good performances in there (against Oldham) and we could go throughout the team.

“Those performances need to keep coming to the fore in every game that we have.

“We have another home game here on Tuesday night against Orient and we need the same effort, commitment and desire from the XI that we put out there.”

Predicted line-ups

Colchester United: George, Coxe, Chambers, Dallison, Kenlock, Skuse, Chilvers, Edwards, Judge, Hannant, Sears

Leyton Orient: Vigouroux, Khan, Ray, Beckles, Wood, Pratley, Coleman, Young, Kyprianou, Drinan, Smith

Last meeting

Colchester beat Leyton Orient 1-0 when the two sides met last month, at Brisbane Road.

Freddie Sears' fourth-minute strike proved the difference between the two sides, as the U's claimed all three points.

Opposition view

Leyton Orient interim manager Matt Harrold spoke to the O's official website:

"I actually thought we did OK on the day (in the game between the two sides last month which Colchester won 1-0).

"They scored from one of our set plays; Drissy (Drinan) had a header saved and they went up the other end and scored and then they managed to keep us out.

"We know about them and we obviously analyse all games.

"We've got to see about our walking wounded and we'll have to evaluate them physically and see how everyone is.

"But it's not something that's been sprung on me this morning and I've been aware of that, especially with Frank (Nouble) and Theo (Archibald).

"It's something we've got to plan for but we've got a bigger squad than we had earlier in the season, so everyone is going to be needed.

"We'll be ready and I'm looking forward to it."
