The manager

Colchester boss Hayden Mullins:

“We’re looking to get back on track.

“We know it’ll be a tough game - Tranmere are a good side and they pose a lot of threat at home.

“They’re on a good run of form at the moment and it’ll be a tough game but a game for us to get a result out of.

“They started off a little bit slowly and then have picked up in recent weeks, so we know it’ll be a tough game."

Last meeting

Colchester and Tranmere played out a 0-0 draw on the final day of last season, at Prenton Park.

The U's had already secured their League Two status by that stage, while Tranmere were preparing to compete in the play-offs.
