Colchester United were beaten 2-0 at home by Salford City, on Saturday afternoon.
U's fans have their say on a disappointing day, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

What is there to say that hasn't been said already. Absolutely awful and at home as well. Every season it's the same
Adam Walker
Poor performance, poor attendance, no passion, no fight, can’t score NOTHING. We are a joke.
Dave B
Each passing game has a horrible dejavu feeling to last season. So one paced, second to everything and could play for a week and still not look like scoring. The Salford defenders won't have many easier weekends with our toothless attack.
Mark Coleman
No leadership no clue. We didn’t start playing until Eastman and Wiredu came on, there’s a clue Mr Mullins. Sorry but I think a change needs to happen otherwise we are going to be pulled into another relegation fight. Can we at least talk to Marcus Maddison, bring him in if he will come. Nouble’s brother is banging them in for Arbroath.

Like the weather, United we’re a washout
Mistley FC
Lucky it wasn't 6
Dan
Poor all round from attendance to performance to overall match day experience. Club has been heading in this direction for years.
Steve Wood
Salford deservedly won because they were more competitive than us & played to their strengths (literally). Our system isn't working & I can't remember the last time we started a home game 'on the front foot'.
Jay Matthams
Would have liked to see Jasper start but agreed mostly with the lineup. So passive defensively (even when they were on the edge of our box!) and clipped it long every time going forward. Our squad suggests we should be much better than that but today Salford were streets ahead.
David Fincham
Too slow, second to every ball, no leadership on the pitch, poor team selection, no structure to the play. Passion came from the younger players, the senior players need to show so much more…I could go on
David Clayton
At one point, Noah Chilvers won a free kick & walked away. Chambers attempted to launch it forward quickly & proceeded to smash it against Chilvers' backside & out for a throw to Salford. That is all anyone needs to know about the performance.
Adam Mason
Think it’s clear to say Eastman MUST start every game he is fit
Steve Lowe
Took my grandson Freddie to his first game this season he’s only 11 and he was disgusted. Without @shamalgeorge we could have be 7 nil down at half time. Very poor performance today
Jeff Coates
Don't want to sound like a dinosaur but you can't play League 2 football without a half decent physical central striker.
Faye
We looked out of our depth today, losing possession, whether it be from a good tackle or dreadful passing. Dobra was up against a very strong player today who managed to whip the ball away from him, shame because he had played so well against West Ham U23 the other eve.
Michael O'Brien
Mullins looking increasingly like a cheap, unconvincing option. Sears and Nouble are being found out every match, whilst Chambers and Smith are error prone. Suspect we won’t hold on to Shamal beyond the next window. Another long season beckons.
Phil Unwin
We had a mass clear-out in the summer, bringing in decent replacements, but have failed to find a goal scorer. The tactics and direction remain the same as last year which took us to the bottom, sadly more of the same coming this season
Duncan Stonehouse
I’m hoping someone still has Paul Tisdale’s number to get out us out of the relegation dog fight again; because for me, we look worse than we did last season. Absolutely no ideas going forward. Keep hearing positive things from the players but not seeing it on the pitch.
Jamie Hudson
Things will never change, wrong team selection, one way of playing home and away, defensive hoof ball, Judge playing CDM all season and refusal to bring in some desperately needed strikers
Si Collinson
We seemed to playing without a plan or set formation. Out thought and out fought on the pitch and things needed changing after 20 minutes, why we wait till past half-time to make the subs that the we clearly needed is beyond me. The only the weather was worse than our performance.
