Priti is a victim of abuse as well
FOR years social media has been full of all kinds of abuse and so to blame MP Priti Patel for the online racist abuse of England footballers is ridiculous.
Ms Patel has condemned the vandalism of public monuments and so is consistent in her condemnation of the graffiti attack on the Marcus Rashford mural.
The public response to the online racist abuse and graffiti tells us much.
Many surveys show that in Britain the bankrupt ideology of racism has been marginalised and the British people are by the vast majority tolerant.
This is something that we British can be proud of.
Where there is racism, we can address it.

MP Priti Patel was correct to criticise taking the knee.
For many of us it is a patronising gesture.
British people in general are not racist, so we do not need the lectures, thank you.
It appears that some want MP Priti Patel back in her box.
Is this not a form of racist thinking?
