HARWICH and Parkeston are getting ready to host their first league game since February, this weekend.

The Shrimpers welcome Frenford to the Gwinnell & Sons Royal Oak tomorrow, seven months since they last hosted a Thurlow Nunn League first division south game at the venue.

Harwich will be looking to bounce back immediately, following their disappointing 3-2 defeat at Brimsdown in their curtain-raiser, last weekend.

They will come against a Frenford side who won their season opener 3-0 against Holland FC, last weekend.

Harwich are reminding spectators of the rules in place to protect people, ahead of the game at the Gwinnell & Sons Royal Oak.

Volunteers have worked hard to make the club safe for you and the players to enjoy football.

The maximum attendance is 300 and spectators must wear face coverings indoors, where possible.

When entering the ground, spectators must give their name and number for Test and Trace and have their number ready to make this process quick.

Anyone sure that they are attending the game tomorrow can email Harwichfc@yahoo.com with their T&T information information by 8pm today (Friday).

The club can then add you to the T&T form beforehand, making the process quicker on matchday.

When watching the game, Harwich are asking that spectators keep to social distancing rules and not to stand with more than six people.

In the stand, the club are asking to keep two seats distance between you and the next person if not in your bubble and to not use the two back rows.

Spectators should also make use of the hand sanitiser stations around the ground and if possible, have the correct money for paying £5 or £3 for match fee and £1 each for programme and raffle

Please arrive from 2.15pm onwards so that there are not large queues just before kick-off.

Little Oakley got their Thurlow Nunn League first division south season off to a winning start with a 2-1 win over a competitive Barkingside side.

New signing Nico Farthing scored both of Oakley's goals.

Boss Matt Carmichael wrote on Twitter: 'Good start to the season against a decent @BarkingsideFC who will be in the mix this season. We were miles off it today but happy with the 3pts'.

Little Oakley tomorrow travel to play Brimsdown - who play their home games at Tilbury FC.
