EFL clubs have been presented with two proposals for the start of next season.
The first will see the campaign kick off on August 29 and run until May 9 while the second would start on September 12 and finish at the end of May.
It is believed the later date is currently preferred by most clubs but it remains to be seen if fans will be allowed to attend.
One option could see stadiums opened up to less than half of their capacity.
