CONCORD Rangers have signed midfielder Odei Martin from Heybridge Swifts, reports Euan Rourke.
The Basque Country born player spent two seasons at Swifts before joining the Beach Boys.
And Martin is thrilled to have made the step up.
“I can’t wait to get started,” said Martin.
“I am so happy because it’s a good step forward for my career and the squad that the club is building is looking superb.”
“Concord Rangers is the type of club I was looking for.
“I am really excited and looking forward to meet all my new teammates and staff.”
Concord will again be lining up in National League South next season.
And Martin feels it is another exciting development for his career which he still hopes can see him progress into the Football League.
“Two years ago I decided to come to England with the target to play in the Football League one day,” said Martin.
“After two unforgettable years at Heybridge Swifts, it was time to move on and try a new challenge at a higher level.
“I think I am ready and I fully believe I will do it well.”
“I am still young and I have things to learn, but with hard work and at this club I know I will adapt well to the team and the league. I will give everything.”
