HARWICH AND PARKESTON blazed to an amazing 7-1 victory at Fire United as the Shrimpers recorded a memorable Thurlow Nunn League victory.

Kieron Shelley's side had seen their amazing 12-match winning run – equalling a post-war club record – come to an abrupt halt after losing 2-0 at Halstead Town last Friday.

However, they turned up the heat on the trio above them in the first division south table with an excellent victory in a one-sided game.

Callum Griffith and Jordan Heath both notched twice and there were also goals for Elliot Johnson, Tyler Rose and Jamie Beecham.
