COLCHESTER United's players and fans have had their say on Twitter following Saturday's 1-0 win over Swindon Town.

Sammie Szmodics' well-taken goal just before half-time sealed victory for the U's.

But their win was tarnished by the injury suffered by striker Luke Norris late in the first half, which forced Colchester's leading scorer to be stretchered off and taken to hospital.

Here's a selection of comments on social media after the U's moved up to third in League Two.

We managed to get another three points and maintain our promotion push. Scrappy game, but a win is a win. Very worrying sight of Luke Norris getting carried off to dampen the mood though.
