STANWAY ROVERS are on the lookout for a new first-team manager.
Former Braintree Town Reserves boss Lee Fisher parted company with the Essex Senior League outfit on Sunday night.
It came the day after an impressive 2-1 victory against title-chasing Hullbridge Sports, at The Hawthorns.
"As many of you already know, Lee decided to leave the club on Sunday," said a Stanway statement.
"We want to thank him for everything he has done for us and wish him every success in the future."
Now Rovers are on the lookout for a new manager, or management team, and applications, complete with CVs, can be sent to stanwayrovers93@gmail.com
Rovers are back in action tomorrow night, when they visit St Margaretsbury in the Errington Challenge Cup.
They will hope to build on Saturday's great win, which came thanks to two goals from Toby Blanche.
The striker slotted home from the penalty spot before doubling his side’s lead.
Hullbridge pulled one back thanks to a spectacular long-range effort but the hosts held on for three valuable points at The Hawthorns.
It was the first match since former boss Angelo Harrop returned to the club as Director of Football.
