BRANTHAM ATHLETIC’S FA Cup adventure came to an end as they lost 1-0 at home to Eastbourne Borough, on Saturday.
The sides met in a second qualifying round replay at the Leisure Centre.
Matt Carmichael and Michael Brothers’ Imps play three levels lower than their National League South conquerors and they accrued more than £11,000 in prize money after eliminating Wivenhoe Town, Welwyn Garden City and Spalding United.
