Colchester United manager Geraint Williams could not conceal his delight after watching his side defeat Preston North End 3-0, in the Coca-Cola Championship.
Goals from Kevin Lisbie, Teddy Sheringham and Mark Yeates handed the U's a comprehensive victory at Deepdale, extending their unbeaten league run to three matches.
Colchester were well worth their win and Williams was impressed by the professionalism of his side.
He said: "It's never easy coming to Deepdale but the lads put in a very professional performance.
"It's made it a very nice weekend and we will enjoy it.
"Everyone is working very hard and we've had to do that in the training sessions to get results like this."
