BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent have been handed a trip to Kingstonian on the opening day of the new Bostik League season.

Next term's fixtures were released this morning and the new campaign begins on Saturday, August 11.

Tom Rothery's R's will head to Kingstonian's Tolworth ground while in division north newly-promoted Coggeshall Town start with a home match against Bowers and Pitsea.

Heybridge Swifts and Witham Town are also at home, against Soham Town Rangers and Grays Athletic respectively, while Maldon and Tiptree cross the Suffolk border to visit Mildenhall Town.

Brightlingsea's first home game follows three days later on Tuesday, August 14 when Haringey Borough - who defeated Heybridge in the play-offs last season - head to to the Taydal Stadium.

The next round of fixtures come on Saturday, August 18 when Regent host Bishop's Stortford.

In division north, it's Sudbury v Heybridge, Barking v Witham, Dereham v Coggeshall and Maldon v Brentwood.

Regent travel to Merstham on Saturday, August 25 and then two days later there are some eye-catching derbies on the Bank Holiday Monday (August 27).

Maldon host neighbours Heybridge while Coggeshall play host to Witham.

Brightlingsea are at home to AFC Hornchurch.

Regent head to Whitehawk on Non-League Day - October 13 - while there is another mouth-watering derby to look forward on Boxing Day, when Swifts and Maldon meet for their return fixture. Unusually, there are no games for Regent, Coggeshall or Witham.

On December 29, Regent host Stortford and Maldon lock horns with Witham, while on New Year's Day it's Coggeshall v Heybridge.

The season ends on Saturday, April 27 with Brightlingsea concluding their campaign against Enfield, at the Taydal Stadium.

Coggeshall play host to Sudbury, Witham finish at Basildon United, Maldon entertain Barking and Heybridge bring the curtain down on their season at Bury Town.
