Brother and sister Mark and Louise Pennell will be bouncing for Britain in Sheffield this weekend.
Mark, 14, and Louise, 18, from Alresford, have been selected for the Great Britain team in the trampolining, tumbling and double mini trampolining international match against Canada at the English Institute of Sport on Saturday.
The Pennell siblings are both included in the DMT (Double Mini Trampolining) discipline.
It is the first time Louise, who is only in her second season in the sport, has been selected but Mark has been a regular member of the GB team for two years.
"DMT is a cross between trampolining and gymnastics," said Mark, a year ten student at Brightlingsea's Colne Community School.
He added: "I travel to Gillingham (Kent) twice a week for training - two hours every Tuesday night and four hours on Saturdays - and I do normal trampolining after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Harlow.
"I used to train at Colchester until my personal trainer emigrated to Australia."
For Louise, a member of the Jumpers of Gillingham Club and employed by Do Mortgages in Highwoods, her international selection has come as a great surprise.
As she celebrated her call-up she said: "I didn't expect to be chosen and my selection is a nice surprise.
"I have only being doing DMT for 18 months. Mark and I both did normal trampolining until he told me I ought to have a go at it."
