Colchester United have completed the season-long loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Aaron Collins.

The 21-year-old will remain at the U's throughout the whole of the 2018-19 season, after becoming the latest addition to John McGreal's squad.

Collins is yet to make a senior appearance for Wolves but has gained plenty of experience out on loan, over recent seasons.

He has twice played for Newport County on loan, where he finished the league season and has also spent time at Notts County and Tranmere Rovers along with playing for Wolves' under-23 side.

Collins is Colchester's second signing today, following the arrival of goalkeeper Ethan Ross on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion earlier today.

Colchester are still expected to make further signings this summer, with Frank Nouble remaining on their wanted list ahead of the forthcoming League Two campaign.
