HALSTEAD and District Motor Cycle Club held their first motocross meeting of the year at the Little Loveney Hall track in Wakes Colne.
It was round two of the Bickers Lifting ACU Eastern Championship and a bumper crowd were treated to some fast competitive racing from some of the top
UK riders.
In the Premier class, Jake Nicholls and Elliott Banks-Browne kept the spectators on their toes with some close duels.
Although Nicholls won all three races to win overall, Banks-Browne finished second in his first race but while leading the second, he had bike problems and did not come out for race three.
Halstead rider Lewis Tombs finished second overall, with a third and two second positions, while third overall went to Nathan Dixon.
The Intermediate class overall was a win for Ryan Watts, second went to Jordan Pasquale, third to Danny Budd and Halstead rider Alex Hornsby finished in fifth.
The A Group saw an overall win for Luke Nolan, with Halstead club rider Mark Relland second and James Barker of the Sudbury club third.
The B Group overall winner was Lee Scott from Jake Robertson, with third going to Vince Pryke.
Halstead club rider Alex Claydon finished in fourth spot.
