Colchester United's busy transfer deadline day has continued with the addition of two further players at either end of the pitch.
Striker Nicke Kabamba has joined the U's from Portsmouth until January and head coach John McGreal has also brought in central defender Ryan Inniss on a loan deal from Crystal Palace until January.
Kabamba arrived at Fratton Park in January of this year, after scoring 33 in 70 games for Hampton & Richmond.
Those goals continued his rate of scoring at around one in two throughout his early years and the now 24-year-old penned an eighteen month deal with Pompey.
He will now look to build on that during his loan stint with the U's.
Inniss, meanwhile, is a 22-year-old centre-half who has had six previous loan spells, including one at Southend United last year, but he has not played any games so far this season.
