COLCHESTER United star Kevin Watson revealed today he has signed a new one-year contract with the the Championship club.
And defender John White has also agreed a new deal with the club.
The 33-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur, Swindon, Rotherham and Reading midfield general Watson said he signed up three weeks ago.
He said: "The club agreed to review my old contract and at the age I am I'm delighted they have offered me a new one."
White, the U's Young Player of the Year for 2005/2006, still had time to run on his existing deal, but he has signed a new improved contract ahead of the pre-season fixtures.
U's chief executive Marie Partner said: "We are really pleased that John has signed up."
White, 20, made 17 appearances for the U's in their first Coca-Cola Championship season.
