WITHAM Town lost out in Ryman League division north on Tuesday night.
AFC Sudbury put themselves in the driving seat with two early goals within two minutes of each other.
Liam Wales gave the leaders the lead on 17 minutes before Luke Callander made it 2-0 on 19 minutes.
But, visiting Witham pulled themselves back into the game as Scott Kemp reduced the deficit on 30 minutes.
However, Witham couldn’t find an equaliser on the night.
